Solar Powered Leachate Pump System

HydroTerra were engaged to design and install a solar powered leachate pumping system at a Victorian landfill. The system provides high volume leachate extraction, remote access to groundwater level, pump status and volume extracted, and independent pump run-dry protection.

Michelle Canton is the Operational Manager, with a hydrogeology and management background. Michelle has more than 10 years’ experience in environmental team management. Michelle has graduated in geology in Brazil and has joined HydroTerra’s team in 2016. Michelle also has the expertise to managing projects with potential and contaminated land, including field data collection such as surface, groundwater, soil and gas sampling, management of data on specific software.
